The summer transfer window won't reopen in Europe for a while yet, but there are plenty of moves in the works and gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

TOP STORY:

Manchester City and Arsenal are interested in signing Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães, according to the Telegraph.

The 26-year-old is reported to be aware of the interest in him from both clubs, which could see a similar battle take place after the two Premier League title challengers competed to sign Declan Rice before his switch from West Ham United to the Emirates Stadium last summer.

A release clause in Guimarães' contract that runs until the summer of 2028 allows him to be signed for a fee of £100 million, though it is believed that Newcastle could be prepared to move on the Brazil international for a lower fee amid their need to remain aligned with the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules (PSR).

Guimarães has been in impressive form for the Magpies this season, having contributed to 10 goals in 31 matches, and has also recently been linked with Paris Saint-Germain.

PAPER GOSSIP

- Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal, reports Le Parisien. PSG are said to have made the 16-year-old Spain international one of their priorities for the summer, as they look to prepare to strengthen their forward line that is expected to be without Kylian Mbappé. It is reported that there is optimism that a deal could be done even if the Blaugrana consider him "non-transferable."

- Tottenham Hotspur are favorites to sign Brisbane Roar starlet Thomas Waddingham, according to Football Insider. Spurs will reportedly face competition from Bayern Munich to sign the 19-year-old striker, who has enjoyed a breakout season for the A-League Men side.

- Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva will consider his options over the coming weeks, reports UOL. Set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, the 39-year-old is believed to already have offers from clubs in MLS and the Saudi Pro League, as well as his former club Fluminense, and is now set to discuss with his family regarding where his next step should be.

- Talks are set to take place between AS Roma and forward Paulo Dybala over a new contract, says Nicolo Schira. The Serie A club are reported to be looking to remove the €12m release clause in his contract accessible by clubs outside of Italy in July, as well as rewarding his recent form with an extension at the Stadio Olimpico. The 30-year-old has contributed to 20 goals in 23 league matches this season.

- Tottenham forward Bryan Gil is attracting interest from Feyenoord, reports the Standard. The Eredivisie side are believed to be keen to make another attempt to land the 23-year-old after previously failing to sign him in January. He has made just two starts in the Premier League under manager Ange Postecoglou this season.
